Of Mad Scientists and.....monkeys??
Dr. Clayton Forrester
The original mad scientist, Dr. Forrester is the embodiment of wackiness. Although he sends them the cheesy movies, he seems to be a softy at heart (he has a Little mermaid bowl, and got all teary eyed when Frank left). His intent is to find a movie so bad, when he releases it out to the public, they will be so shocked and horrified he will be able to take over the world. He has had three assistants, Dr. Erhardt (I don't blame you if you never heard of him), TV's Frank, and his own mother. In the end of Season 7, he was turned into a Star Baby after his funding ran out.
Dr. Erhardt
Not much is known about Dr. Erhardt. He was Dr. Forrester's first assistant, and while not as evil as Forrester, he was not as lovable as Frank. He was rather slow, though. He was only on during the KTMA and First seasons, so most MiTies don't even know he existed. Josh Weinstein, the person who played him, also provided the voice for Tom Servo until the end of the first season, where Joel installs a new voice chip into Servo.
TV's Frank
The most lovable of Doctor Forrester's assistants, Frank was what Forrester was not: slow, kind, innocent, and sympathetic to Joel (and later Mike) and the bots. He alwyas dreamed about being the bots' best friend and having slumber parties. Because he was a constant foil to Dr. Forrester, he was killed often, but he didn't mind. At the end of Season Six, he was taken to Second Bannana heaven by Torgo.
Pearl Forrester
She started out as Dr. Forrester's last assistant, and played a stereotypical nagging mother. Apparently she was cryogenically frozen, and thawn out to serve as the Lawgiver to a race of advanced apes. She gained a whole new masty, condescending attitude, and probably surpasses her son on the evil factor. She is currently assisted by Profeesor Bobo and Observer in Castle Forrester.
Professor Bobo
One of the head scientists of 'Deep Ape', he was Pearl's assistant until Mike Nekson inadvertantly helped some worshippers of atomic weapons (no, I am not one of them) set off their device, destroying Deep Ape and the earth. Pearl escaped in a rocket microbus (The Widowmaker) with Bobo in tow.
Observer
A member of a race of omniscient beings, Observer possess extreme psionic abilities and incredible intelligence (although he is apparently less intelligent than Tom). He and his partners (Observer and Observer) captured Pearl, Bobo and the SOL and were observing the experiment before they decided to dissect Pearl. Pearl asked for a diversion, and the Nanites blew up the Observer's planet. He escaped with Pearl and Bobo, and later met his counterparts at Castle Forrester, but out smarted them and turned them into Packers fans. That's tough.
