Of all the monsters in the Godzilla series, Destoroyah was the only one that was truly successful. He actually killed Godzilla. The victory cost him his life, but strangely it was fitting that Godzilla die by this monster. Destoroyah was created by the Oxygen Destroyer, which killed the original Godzilla in the first movie. In an oxygenfree environment, the anaerobid Destoroyah organisms thrived. Soon, they became bigger, and linked together to form a super organism, 120 meters in height. It was this final form that finally killed the King of the Monsters.
