A monster of peace and principle, Mothra fights merely to protect her worshippers at Infant Island. Hatching first from a blueish egg, Mothra is a huge and rather ugly lavra, which spends considerable time searching for food. In forms a cocoon aorund itself, and turns into a giant.... well, moth. In the first series of Godzilla film, Mothra had little more than agility and poison powder. In the later, or Heisei series of Godzilla, she had a significantly beefed up arsenal, including beam weapons and and reflective scales which could disipate Gdozilla's breath.
