Angurius started out in 'Godzilla Raids Again' as Godzilla's first adversary. In later movies of the series, Angurius (or another of his kind) comes to help Godzilla, and makes more film appearances in the Godzilla series than any other monster. Angurius has no special weapons, perhaps because in the earlier days of the Godzilla movies, the monsters were treated more like actual beasts.
